I am facing the same issue. Not sure if there is a specific setting in batting difficulty slider causing this. As far I remember, I had no issue hitting over point in c22.

Unfortunately the latest patch did not do anything to improve the gameplay. The game is only getting visually better.

Among the special shots, I use the sweep frequently. I experienced the same that at times it is not getting triggered and some other shots being played out. In had never faced such issue previously with C22.

It's unfortunate that we can't have both. Currently it is very difficult for a batsman to hit a square cut or late cut or even a fine leg-glance to a spinner. Thick powered edges are being taken out from far off which are impossible in real life. Even the properly timed shots are being taken...

I would say two things needs a correction in fielding, first & foremost reducing the Keepers reaction in case of spinners, so that it does not take catches of proper timed shots. Second thing is reducing the amount of direct hits to the stumps. Otherwise, the fielding overall has improved greatly.

I find it quite difficult to connect the sweeps against the spinners after last couple of patches. Sometimes even the un-orthodox shot button is not registering while trying to sweep, some other shots being executed. Anybody else facing this ? If not, can somebody pls recommend the slider...

Today I saw a strong arial flick down the leg-side by an AI batsman taken by my WK.

Again this issue has been from the prior iteration of BAnt cricket. AI bowls good line to LH batsman coming round the wicket but there is no way to tell AI to do so. Had there been a slider to tell the AI bowlers to do so, that would have been great but I don't expect that to be implemented.
