The actual retail box only includes a digital download for the switch. I'm not familiar with Nintendo stores ect but I would imagine this means you can download the game

You would hope as the squads for both Ashes and World cup are quite fluid that BA are prepared to put additional players in if required. They did it last year. There's also the possibility that this is an early version of the squads and the game will ship with slightly different rosters.

That was never the case. A streamer went to BA studios for some reason that's undisclosed and that same streamer said they were doing a stream on Friday night (Australian time I presume). People immediately assumed they were connected but it wasn't the case.
