While it's definitely become a cashcow for Ubi, I don't think those random glitches make it a bad game per se. Every one of their games tend to have the glitches but I don't think it always detracts from the overall product too much. I am worried about the direction though. Rogue is a slightly...
Similar situation for me. Being a Pakistani living in the US, it's very easy to give up on watching cricket these days, and facilities are far and few to actually play. This game has really reignited my passion for participation.
Haha, Gayle went on to score a triple on us and the almighty Windies put up 850 runs! We ended up losing the match by 500+ runs. I think I ended with 3/120 for the match and scored another 60 runs in the fourth innings. The next match was a different story. I only took 4 wickets for not very...
Swing and seam is really good as it is IMO. Spin could be more pronounced.
Anyway, seeing as how my PC is crapped out, I can't wait to see the results on console.
I can't tell you for sure, but my experience has been that you want to use the triggers for ground shots unless the field is spread out. So I do think using both triggers gives you more room for error with your timing. I never use them when there are no fielders close by.
This seems to happen if you appeal on a caught behind that doesn't need an appeal. Has happened to me twice but @fiction has posted that they know about the bug.
To clarify, I'm buying it for him so the price doesn't matter too much. I just wanted to save where I could. Classical record outlet seems like a good option.
So I've got my brother-in-law kind of hooked on this game everytime he comes over (he doesn't get cricket at all) and I wanted to get the game for his system. What's the best out there right now? Amazon seller has it for $70 which is too much.
Progressing through at a great pace. I was made the Sussex captain, played two matches, and then got picked to play for Pakistan against the West Indies! Started playing the first Test last night and Gayle has been carting us all around the park. I only got to bowl 4 overs but I was able to...
I just made a really stupid move in my 2nd match as a captain (bowling AR).
We're batting ridiculously well these days so I bat first and we put up 550 runs in 4 sessions and declare. The opposition (Derbyshire) play on forever and are 360/8. Ok, no follow on but I'd really like to bowl them...
Surprised to see no more discussion here about this. Lots more info has come out regarding the Unity next gen game as well as the current gen Rogue (originally codenamed comet).
Mode: Career
Match Type: First Class
Over Count (Match Overs + When Occured): Happened at a couple of different points in the match
Ground: It was either the Sussex home ground or Derbyshire's.
Teams: Sussex vs. Derbyshire
Get Best: Yes
Description of Issue: Twice now the game has hung up on me...
Digging up an old response to further ask a question. I can't say I've noticed any reverse swing in the game, though it's possible I haven't been paying attention. I guess my question is, how do the controls work for reverse swing? Do I bowl a normal in-swinger and with the right conditions I'll...
I restarted my career as a bowling AR at age 21. 11 matches in I finally got my first century against the Notts! We bowled first and gave up 280 runs only to be reduced to 172/4. Prior and I put up a 150 run partnership followed by a 50 run partnership with Brown. I ended my innings at 108 (128)...
So my game on PC is a bit choppy which is fine when bowling, but makes it very difficult to bat.
I was thinking I should tweak my laptop's settings. Any suggestions?
So I'm using the PS3 controller with the DS3 tool and it works well, but I can't pause the game with it, I have to keep using the Esc button on the keyboard. Is this the same for everyone or is it a function of my controller?
Also, were the graphic filters always there or is it a new addition...
