dont forget that there were huge improvements in both dbc14 and dbc17 after release. The sad thing was that playing in single player wasnt great for various problems: - in dbc 14 it was too difficult to get AI wickets - dbc17 had the "smash pad" issue, and the "AI captain" was poor and annoying...

run the game, load the mod and press START. Try to test the version 0.04, it's simple to use. After you press START, just select one of the options. Dbc14 and Dbc17 have not been updated from what i know, so all the mods should work.

yes there is some problem with the keeper. In most of the overs bowled by the spinners, if you block he will run to pick the ball going through the batsman. It's not really a bug but it doesnt look great.

same happened to me in a game with lots of overs without a wicket. Maybe you can change the team that you control and lose a wicket with the same batsman.
