Glad the beta team have been working on this game. I'm not sure why but I have a feeling they'll have done even better for Cricket 19 than any game beforehand. :yes

I really hope they've improved the match simulation engine. The constantly super high run rates have always bugged me in career mode throughout the last 2 games.
Sorry but I think this is kind of a bizarre statement. Why would you want the AI to win at a set flat percentage?
AI successfully chasing/defending should be based on multiple variables with by far the most important one being how well the player plays. If I bowl badly on a road against the...
I know they probably won't be able to say at this time but I hope there have been members of this forum involved in the development/testing process. There's no doubt Ashes improved immensely when the beta team were involved.
Amazing to finally see Lord's in a Big Ant game! Wonder if the Aussie stadiums will be kept in it too.
Even from the short clip it looks graphically very similar to Ashes 17. I hope all their efforts have gone into game-play revamps.
Yeah I could see one level of AI difficulty working if the AI is actually smart and able to play based on their stat attributes. The problem right now is they need to cheat so much on the higher difficulties to make it challenging.
Disagree. That was the system they used in DBC 14 and since I was much better at bowling than batting I was never able to find a sweet spot in difficulty, it was always too easy or too hard. The splitting of difficulties was probably the best thing they did in DBC17 in my opinion.
My solution...
I've never tested it. But I have a theory in Ashes that you could keep the powerplay fields through an entire 50 over innings and the AI would still reduce their rate as if you'd pushed 4 men back to the fence.
No, ropes mods are for all created grounds as they all use the same boundary rope texture.
Stumps and pitch ads will replace whatever grounds/match types use those stumps/pitch ads with the modded version. For example a Test mod pack will replace the Magellan pitch ads and stumps.
The problem is that choosing the length beforehand and basing if it is a "good ball" or not on whether you get the timing correct doesn't really make a lot of sense in a bunch of situations. If I choose to bowl a half-volley right in the slot the T20 death overs it doesn't matter if I get...
