@Dutch Apologies if you've mentioned before, but what else do you select for HUD settings (apart from disabling batsmen timing) when using Pro mode? Also, what field camera do you think works best for it. Thanks.

Co-op is a lot of fun (particularly batting in the longer formats) when the connection is excellent. I did request an option to simulate your bowling innings in co-op so you have the option to chase also... So if anyone in the UK wants a co-op game (maybe 50 overs or test), let me know...

Thanks for the update guys @WealeyH @Llewelynf - look forward to see how tinkering certain elements affect the pitch. Sometimes I feel like starting a test on a pitch with plenty of deviations and demons and see it gradually get worse as you go along!

@WealeyH Re: your latest post in the Beta thread - have you or anyone else done any tests to create a pitch with seam movement/spin on Day 1? (it seems all pitches are flat as a pancake regardless of what pitch settings you choose). Thanks!

I guess the new 'rapid patches' concept is NOT supported by the fact that Epic Games/Fortnite gets to release a couple of patches every week on console (a game which was released last year). However, this may be an exception IMO since it has so much hype/popularity/demand surrounding it and...

Really looking forward to an improved version of the current game - from what I have read and seen in this thread recently, it's looking promising. Not played Ashes in months so going back to it will feel like a 'new' game.

We certainly could, but sadly it won't be this game based on the footage - it looks truly dreadful. It's no surprise that no gameplay footage has been released this CLOSE to the release date (ps. there may be other factors for not releasing, but based on the leak having such a negative impact...

Agreed - I'm not quite sure why there is no follow-through (at the very least) as it appears like the batsman is doing a defensive prod.

Online co-op is a lot of fun for what it's worth - really enjoying it as not experienced the run-out glitch thus far!

I have no 'issue' with that (no pun intended) as I am sure it is the case with a lot of people here. Personally, I will be waiting for further details/gameplay on the online side before I consider pre-ordering or purchasing after release date.

Don't preorder then? Why not wait for the reviews after the game has released...

I'd expect much more than a trailer tbh... There should be in-game footage by then :)

Animations certainly look better on the whole, particularly in batting - however, if that is the final Jimmy Anderson 'action' in game, then it is a concern... (so is England taking a clean catch :p)

I am really hoping, with all the extra demand/interest this game will get from prospective buyers of the game (based on excellent PR so far), that we don't see the same issues in the online mode as we saw in DBC17 as I fear a backlash. I'm not going to repeat the importance of a solid online...
