I’m also back on C19 and Ashes 17 since last week. If they can combine the two with the eye candy of C24 then we might have the best cricket game ever.

What values are you using for pitch and ball friction?

Amazes me that after a week they still couldn't fix the pitch wear and spin issue. The 2023 world cup will be over and we will still have a game that is annoying to play. I mean 3 patches in 17 days?

Completed first Ashes Test. Played as Australia Legendary hard bat and bowl with Rumple43 sliders. Wicket chance were at 30 and run rate 28. Going to use Veteran difficulty in next test to see if AI can do better. Positives: Good looking dismissals from pace and spin Fielding is better but...

Guess we have to wait another week for more balancing and tweaking. We wait more for fixes than actually playing the game.

It's a bug but doesn't happen all the time. The sound of shot replay gets mixed up with with your actual shot. It sounds like hitting a cardboard box in a tunnel. I found it happens when you launch a match and after every break. Only for a couple of balls and then it sort of fixes itself.

Can someone test the spin on a licensed and non licensed stadium? Set the pitch conditions the same and share results. Wanted to do it myself but on my way to work now. Cheers

In career mode the ball spin but not other modes. Currently playing Ashes series and Lyon can’t spin the ball at all. I have set the pitch and ball friction to 100 again and still nothing. I do however get most wickets with Lyon:laughter:

Wicket keepers needs serious tweaking. It takes them literally 2 seconds to react to do a stumping. Fielders on the boundary still allow some balls past them where it is easily stoppable.

Which batting styles do you guys find best in the game?

Spin is definitely back. Had pitch and ball friction on 100 from the other day and forgot to set it back to default. First ball I bowled after the patch the ball almost made a u turn

Why is aggressive shots so underpowered in Career mode? You can hardly hit the ball over the inner ring with ideal timing. Is it that my rating is still low? Can't remember that it was the same in C22.
