I don't recall any of the games in 2011 being played whilst there was physical puddles on the outfield or on grounds that had the quality of drainage you'd expect to find on a local club ground instead.
A must win game for us, a win should hopefully see us through though.

So close! Extremely frustrating start from Sangakarra going along at a snails pace which eventually upped the run rate too far. We just managed to keep with it but it fell apart in the penultimate over :(. Shame really given we still had Santner and Morris able to bat.
Wood will presumably bat at number in this series but he's no mug with the bat at all and has a fairly solid technique. Wouldn't be too hopeful of seeing David Willey at least at the start of the series or perhaps in any of it after today.
Is there anyone you think actually has a highly suspect action from Aus, Eng or NZ? It could perhaps be that these nations weed out the issues at lower levels rather than let them get through to international cricket.
