Yeah that's not a great thing to have to do, you should be able to enjoy the game without having to play like you're testing it. I don't even have Cricket 22 yet and I've been logging support tickets too from issues I've noticed in gameplay videos I've watched, and on behalf of people here on...
With all the bugs present and features missing from the game I'll definitely back you up on the statement of the game needing another six months before being released. They should've held the release back until before the T20 World Cup (that is being held in Australia) starts in October next...
Ross has stated that both those features would appear at later dates within the game so no need to worry, although it would've be nice for players to be able to utilise those features already.
Quick question: Has anyone played a domestic match, for example a Sheffield Shield match, and if so are the stadiums still packed out like they were in C19?
I hope this is not the case because a Shield match at the MCG per say would usually only have 1000 people attending each day of the match...
I have yet to purchase the game as I wanted to wait until footage of the game was shown by streamers/youtubers on release day (today) before making my choice. From what I've seen on Youtube and heard from everyone here it seems major bugs are present and features like stadium creator, scenario...
I don't see why a diving mechanic doesn't exist for fielding, if this was included I'm sure it would solve the issue of fielders sliding over the boundary. There is of course the flick the ball back mechanic but that only works if you're within a millimetre of the ball. Diving to stop boundaries...
I know what you mean, that's why I've refrained from commenting in the other thread with 230 pages. That being said I am looking forward to the game and starting a fresh career, December 2nd couldn't come quicker just so everyone here will calm down.
Indeed, the club grounds from the footage shown look brilliant. Maybe I won't mind being stuck playing club cricket in career for years this time around. I really hope you're right regarding an overhaul of the stadium creator because previous BA cricket titles haven't done justice to (the user)...
You can only start a star player career mode as an international player. Aka players listed in the in-game 35-man squads of the full member nations (the 9 countries apart of the World Test Championship).
Unfortunately you can't start a star player career mode as a domestic player, say you...
There was the ability to change the bats of licensed players who had 'fake bats' by going into the bat creator, clicking on a bat and assigning it to a player. However, like you said licensed players that had 'real bats' couldn't have their bat changed and I unfortuantely doubt that this will...
Yeah it was fairly spot on with the licensed players in Cricket 19. Most players looked unbelievable although some others looked like random people you'd come across in the streets. I think in all the licensed teams there were at least a couple of iffy likenesses, England for example had Archer...
The most annoying part of it is that you can edit the original licensed players who just weren't face scanned and replace their 'fake faces' with a playface. I am of course talking about Australia, England, and the Australian Domestic Teams.
The players from those teams could have their faces...
The DLS system has always been screwed in this game, like @WickeySticket said the correct target should've been 71 runs in 10 Overs. I've seen major bugs with the DLS before with the team chasing needing just a couple of runs to win!
I've ran into this same issue, it seems there isn't any link options for the new players though. It only gives you the options of 'replace with best' or 'share'.
Whoever creates the licensed stadiums in game for Big Ant does a great job, although they forgot to add floodlights to the Rose Bowl :facepalm.
If there is anything I could choose to have fully licensed in sports games it would be the stadiums. @wasteyouryouth has done some of the playfaces...
The players skills seem to stay the same, although I've found not all the players are linked though so you will probably find duplicates of some players in the academy.
