That’s really unhelpful advice to “restart the game” which is frozen
Yes I’m getting similar.
If I edit a Stadium and go to edit a second Stadium the game will freeze on me.
Yes, great to see the legendary FT is back. I didn't use it in DBC 17 because I just didn't play the game but hopefully before long the FT will be able to include human edges
Yeah, I get that but the whole walking down the pitch thing shouldn't happen at all. Why is the batsman just randomly running around in a semi-circle after leaving the ball in the first place? This happened in DBC 14 and I have no idea if it happened in 17 because that game was shit but it's...
Batting was definitely way too easy; very frustrating that the old 'leave the ball and go for a wander down the pitch to get stumped' from DBC 14 is still around, why hasn't that been ironed yet?
The tutorial is poorly implemented
Catch the ball; batsman leaves the ball
Relay the throw; batsman can’t hit the ball beyond the inner fielders
Tap the ball back; batsman can’t hit a boundary
Take a reflex catch; batsman leaves the ball again or skies the ball
Argh, I'm spewing I didn't read this thread before buying the game. It's installing now but if the batting is way too easy I will be refunding within my 2 hour steam time frame
Nah the logo creator is crap they looked significantly better on DBC14 if you could find a good enough source image. The logos from 17 were way too pixelated and just didn’t look right at all when viewed at close up. Plus it was much easier to convert the files and replace in game images than...
I'm genuinely interested because if it's any good I'll buy it.
Is this essentially DBC 17 with improvements and Ashes licensing or is it just an Ashes focused game without the tour, tournament customisation or whatever else.
So you are confirming that there was a money grab once the licensing became available, gotcha.
It's almost like the 2017/18 Ashes was pre-planned before DBC 17 was in development. After the dismal effort of RLL4 on top of the very poor effort of DBC 17 I'm very intrigued in how this Ashes game...
How come there was a crappy, half-arsed DBC 17 released last year and an Ashes game released this year? Surely the extra year would have been more beneficial to make one quality game? Although that does ignore the obvious money grab
