Dogshit is harsh, but I agree, he's immensely overrated.

I really wouldn't go that far. Alexis is blatantly being forced out of Barca (read Zubi's quotes yesterday), so he's most certainly off anyway. And if we aren't getting him in exchange for Suarez, I really can't see us coming to terms with Barca over the sale of Suarez either, unless of course...

    2014 World Cup Knock-Out Phase: - Round 16

Thought I'd put it here.. the curse of the Confederations Cup - Brazil won it in 2005 and 2009, and were eliminated in the quarterfinal of the subsequent World Cups (2006 & 2010). They won the Confed Cup again in 2013....

Suarez is irreplaceable for me. The guy was involved in 51 of our goals last season. If he does leave though, I can easily see us getting Alexis in exchange. ---------- Can't see Juve paying in excess of 25mil for him, Stinky..

It's not just Athletic. It's how Basque clubs roll - 'pay the release clause or fack off'. Sociedad are no saints either. Recall a certain Ilarramendi going for 37m last year?

Herrera is not 30m good either. He's not even Athletic's best midfielder. Iturraspe is. But as far as Man Utd's midfield goes, Herrera would their best MF provided he does sign eventualy.

England v Sri Lanka, Test Series (June 2014)

DLLLLLDL - England's last 8 tests. Over the years, I've gone through supporting the likes of Roy Hodgson's Liverpool, but trust me, this feels worse. Sri Lanka have just come to England's own backyard and mugged them off in all three formats. Hope Cook's a goner after this test match.

2014 World Cup Group D: Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, Italy

Ste is actually 100% right? Italy needed a draw against Uruguay regardless of a 1-1 draw or a 1-0 loss against Costa Rica. On the contrary, conceding a second against Costa Rica would have meant they needed a win against Uruguay. So yes, not conceding a second was far more crucial for the...

That's four competitive games on the bounce Spain have failed to score from open play on Brazilian soil - starting from the Confed cup semis against Italy last year, to the one yesterday. Good riddance btw.

Disappointing from Paletta to produce such an awful performance having 100% merited his callup. Was a beast for Parma this season. Nerves I guess.. Hope De Sciglio is fit for Costa Rica and Chiellini returns to play alongside Barzagli at CB. The man in my avi though... :cheers

5-3 win against Fluminense. Haven't seen the game or any of the goals yet, but I heard Perin and the second string defence had a shocker. Anyway, the good old Pescara boys under Zeman doing the job so far in the warmups - Verratti against Ireland and Lux, Immobile and Insigne yesterday. Will...

England really should have gone with Flanagan over Johnson. Not that the former is anything special, but atleast he gives his all and his performances have been country miles ahead to that of the overpaid, overrated latter.

Should have signed Garay when he was yet available. Off to Bayern now, isn't he? 15ME is just daylight robbery. Caulker, Lallana and Richards would be decent coups for a Europa League side. Stakes are higher now for us.
