Since coming back to international cricket in August of last year Tuffey's played in 12 games collecting 15 wickets @ 35 with an RPO of 5.61. Tim Southee's played 13 games during that time and has picked up 18 wickets @ 32 with an RPO of 5.29. McKay even though it's only a small sample size has...
I find it rather ironic that you rage about Daniel Vettori batting in the middle order - the same Daniel Vettori that has averaged 32 with a strike rate of 97 over the past 18 months in one day cricket for New Zealand, whilst also saying this current New Zealand team lacks substance in the...
Well that obviously helps, much like it would for attacks from South Africa and England. Point was lumping New Zealand in with Bangladesh and the West Indies when talking about this group of batsmen "boosting" there numbers is highly informative.
That's very Un-Australian of you :p Personally I really can't see England winning with that squad, I'd be very surprised if Australia don't win by at least two matches.

Kieron Pollard is of little value to the West Indies though. He doesn't play test cricket, he's a terrible one day cricketer and he's never really peformed for the West Indies like he has domestically in international 20/20 cricket, as far as I'm concerned he's bloody lucky to have picked up an...
The team they qualified with didn't look anything like the one we saw at this tournament. The bowling for example, none of Doug Bracewell, Adam Milne or Mitchell McCleanaghan actually played a game during the HRV cup. Losing Ross Taylor hurt but the loss of Graham Napier and Jacob Oram really...
Guyana ;):p
But yeah I agree. I actually haven't seen Mumbai play in this tournament yet but Guyana are a very average team, they should put them away rather easily.
Yeah Doug Bracewell bowled well. Could of had Finch out in his first over had he not overstepped too. Central were always going to struggle to defend that total though, just not enough quality bowlers really. In hindsight Patton was a waste of a selection but ah well, you learn from these...
Like I said earlier Central have stacked there team with batsmen/all rounders. You'd really only call Mason and Bracewell front line bowlers tbh. I really don't think Central have enough, 20 short IMO.
Victoria just has it all over Central tbh, I don't give them a chance in hell of winning this. With Nannes, Siddle and McKay they should comfortably have it over the Central batsmen who all struggle (and I'm talking about the main three here) to score of quicker bowlers in 20/20 cricket. Then...
It's why I'm not too fond of Ryan Ten Doeschate tbh. The amount of people that rate him because of his first class average bugs me to death. According to some he's one of the best batsmen ever to have never played a test match :facepalm
Believe me, if he was good enough then South Africa...
