Chappell-Hadlee One Day Series (December 2016)

This thread was created so far in advance I almost made a new one. I've stickied this one. New Zealand tour of India (Sept-Oct 2016)

If India were to lose all 5 remaining wickets for no runs here it'd still be 60/40 in India's favour right now - NZ without Williamson and on this pitch with it's variable bounce probably wouldn't be able to chase this amount

This pitch is actually much better for India than turners - rank turners just even up the spinning game as even terrible spinners can do something on them, while on pitches like this there's reward if you have application and are good like Ashwin and Jadeja, but hard toil for average spinners

New Zealand tour of India (Sept-Oct 2016)

I actually prefer tests at this time to those in NZ - it starts at 4pm so I only miss the first session at work and can watch the next two before I go to bed

Steyn is awesome. Decision to bowl first was silly. The bounce on the last day was a bit stupid though and Latham was unlucky both innings. Really surprised by Nicholls

I think this is pretty accurate, though we tend to overrate his batting - he's trying to become an all-rounder but has shown nothing of the sort in test cricket.

Sodhi has similar averages to Craig. Craig has won us quite a few games on day 5 pitches which is what you want your spinner to be able to but he is also very inconsistent so overall his figures aren't very good. But if he can win games for us and our pace bowlers are good enough on the other...

New Zealand tour of Africa (Zimbabwe & South Africa) 2016

I doubt they'd drop Santner for Craig, Santner is the designated all-rounder for this series and Craig's batting stats flatter him somewhat

New Zealand tour of Africa (Zimbabwe & South Africa) 2016

Wagner did well the first game, but we were extremely fortunate that the ref was terrible in the second. But yes I imagine Sodhi won't be playing. Guptill has taken 3 wickets in an innings before though I imagine Williamson would still be preferred over him, I think two of Guptill's wickets...

For NZ the question will be whether our bowlers will be effective because they struggled quite a bit in Zimbabwe

On his day he's a matchwinner, but when its not he does terribly, so he's pretty inconsistent

Going to buy a new PC/Laptop and need suggestions? ask here

I have no idea what prices are like in India but an i3 might be out of the budget if you want a gaming pc and passable gaming graphics. You can survive on one 4GB stick of RAM, and you can upgrade later once you have a bit more money and if you are feeling the lack of RAM. 750ti is a decent...
