New Zealand tour of Australia Nov-Dec 2015

Once McCullum/Elliott/Ronchi leave the team because they're all getting quite old, I reckon we could have Watling/Anderson/Neesham at 5-7, or even just bowl Williamson a bit more and just play one of the all-rounders

I'm hoping Watling gets a chance in the OD team once Elliott retires, they have a similar playstyle

My New Custom Built Gaming Rig

I would have thought HDD would be the last place I'd not spend money a bit more to get a SSD, even a small one. The PSU is where I would saved the money, a single 390X only really needs 650W

Bracewell and Milne bowled really well :) The running and fielding from SA was pretty poor though

He's almost 35 years old, he won't be there for the next world cup. We need to start developing a new limited overs spinner

New Zealand tour of Africa - August 2015

I don't think it's part of the strategy, he just seems to only find fielders in the middle parts of his innings, and near the end of the innings when he has to be more aggressive he starts hitting over the top and building up the runrate. But in doing so he sometimes just gets out so he's scored...

New Zealand tour of Africa - August 2015

Our bowlers weren't threatening at all. We're still struggling to find an ODI spinner after Vettori's retirement and MitchM hasn't been very threatening for a while. Also Taylor was way to slow in the middle overs.

    Random Thoughts

Just got back from almost 3 weeks overseas: London, Paris and Hong Kong :D Had lots of fun, saw lots of cool stuff and bought heaps too :D On a cricket-related note, I went on a Lord's tour. It was definitely one of the highlights of the trip, seeing the Ashes urn, going into the Pavilion and...

New Zealand tour of England - May/June 2015

England were impressive today Our problems were batting first on a good pitch, no Southee and with Mills/Vettori retiring it means we have no economical bowlers (apart from NcCullum and he isn't very consistent) and no one to bowl at the death so England could score big, especially as Boult was...

That catch was the sort of catch you see in the ICC games and complain about because no one ever could catch like that

Watling's scored 1440 runs at 46.45 as wicket keeper, he's currently the best test wicketkeeper playing Definitely was an interesting day's cricket though
