10/11 Domestic schedules are out. Wellington are only coming to Hamilton the once for a T20 :( ahwell better than a couple of years ago when they didn't come at all. 21/12/10 will be there for sure.

We should be handing out about 15 contracts per team rather than 12. If players at least have their future secured they might hang around here rather than going overseas. Shame about Fuller :(

Looks like Nevin's career is coming to an end it doesn't sound like he will be getting a contract this season. Wellington will be giving one to Joe Austin-Smellie instead. Griggs will also be on his way out.

Probably not a huge loss for Auckland tbh, he will be spending most the summer with the Black Caps.

According to reports Franklin isn't slogging while opening hes playing proper cricket shots. Almost certain he will open for Wellington next season now if all goes well there he might well "do a Watson" and end up opening in tests given that our current openers haven't really done much.

I reckon he will end up opening for Wellington next season hes had a decent run doing it for Gloucs.

Not only that but he is one of the quickest between the wickets as well.

Do you think Guptill will end up opening again then? If Guptill ends up making 5 his spot would it be stupid to think that Ryder could be a test opener? Does it in ODI's already and would certainly do a better job than current openers even if he was suited to being down the order a bit.
