Miles Davis is awesome my favourite person at radiosport. "Village of the damned" :laugh

Yea whenever I start to think Nevin should call it a day he comes up with a good innings which makes me change my mind. Horribly inconsistent player overall though.
He will be gone for just over half of it.
All of the Kiwi and Aussie players who are part of the test teams will be gone for that time, the ones just playing the one day series (Bond, Styris, Oram, White etc) will probably only miss the first couple of games.
Even though the squad is small this is what I would go with for the T20:
1: B. McCullum
2: Ingram
3: Guptill
4: Taylor
5: Franklin
6: Oram
7: N. McCullum
8: Vettori
9: Butler
10: Southee
11: Tuffey
Batting all the way down to number 11 is rather nice and plenty of bowling options...
You could say the same thing about Wellington's campaign probably even more so. Ryder, Elliott, Gillespie, O'Brien even Boam would have been better than some of that useless lot.
Also grats Howsie time to ban a few certain Indian members? ;)
Guess we now know how Pakistan got the ball to reverse swing in that T20 match against NZ at The Oval. Cheats.
I thought Pakistan had moved on from that sort of thing, guess not.
Bopara is going to be around for the whole season to the best of my knowledge. Shah and Napier might be staying for some of the OD stuff and i'm unsure about anyone else.
Congrats to Central well deserved. My only concern about them going to India is the lack of a good spin bowler otherwise a very balanced team.

Scotty looking a little bitter there, don't blame him.
Sounds like another great choice by NZC. :sarcasm
Point one was already very clear since he has been a selector the rest I can easily see as being true with someone like Greatbatch.
The only reason he was picked is because NZ have done well in the last few months and they want to continue...
