North was lucky he didn't get out earlier to Amin also, terrible batting really. Even in conditons like this you shouldn't be getting out to a part timer.
Yeah, because Pakistan are the only team in world cricket that get bad decisions go against them.
Wonderful bowling this I must say, really enjoy watching both these two bowl.

Is what I'd guess at. Shannan Stewart is a very good player of spin bowling so hopefully he gets the callup for the injured Ryder.
Yeah that's right. Although usually they have a pretty fair idea on who will pick up a national contract for the current season so you'd assume they'ed almost be done aswell.

Sigh........
Leaves New Zealand missing it's three best limited overs players for this tournament, it should be a good test to see where our depth is at the moment, also...
At the end of the day Ajmal's strike rate of 14.3 is still only good enough on average to pick up one wicket during a four over spell, just like Vettori, Swann and Harbhajan. You can argue to the cows come home who the better spinner is but their is no denying that Vettori, Swann and to a lesser...
Mark Greatbatch's interview on Radio Sport just before was rather comical, he didn't want to slam Broom, Franklin etc but he just kept saying they hadn't "performed" at a world class level when given the chance. Wish I was asking the questions because how Jacob Oram is justified a contract after...
Personally I'd go for the player that picks up just as many wickets per game but also goes at a lower RPO, can bat, and isn't toatally lost in the field.
With New Zealand touring Bangladesh and India this year, as well as the world cup being held in the subcontinent he was probably always going to pick up another contract. He's looking likely to play at least 5-6 test matches within the next year.
You'll be glad to hear that the NZPA and NZC...

This. McKay's a freak on this game, reckon he should be a little higher IMO, he's the best bowler Australia have when irl this isn't anywhere near the case.
Mark Houghton's a bowler mate, even if his record doesn't suggest it :P I'd agree with most of what your've changed, although I still feel as though Eion Morgan is rated far too high in this game.
Just realised Neil Wagner isn't on this game (well not for New Zealand anyway). I realise he doesn't qualify until next year but surely he could be added to the game and just not be able to be selected until November 2011?
I think it depends in which area/league he's playing in, some a very strong (Lancashire league) whereas some can be pretty average. Russell is playing for the Barnards Green cricket club in the Worcestershire league so perhaps someone here knows what the level is like. I wouldn't worry about too...
Yeah, the first 100 I ever scored I felt as though I was in the zone. Came in at five with us needing 180 and scratched around for the first 15-20 runs. We lost a few more wickets in between that time and when we slumped to 65-8 I decided to shield the strike and see I much I could make before...
