It's definitely a big improvement from cricket 19 and it's much effective from the looks of it, but the animation happens suddenly and not as smooth as DBC 14 or even Cricket 07.

The Lighting looks great! Batting looks more fluid and realistic and every shot seems to have been tweaked. Some shots do happen a bit suddenly and look weird though. It might be because of not timing it correctly but still..... I hope there is a backfoot pull shot or something you could play...

Not only that, the ball stops Mid Air sometimes (rarely) when it is ideally timed! Even when there is nothing making it stop! (Surely Air Friction can't be this high)

While I did point out certain flaws in the game, I never said they were game breaking. I just felt that this game has a lot of potential to be even better than it is currently, And for that to happen, those flaws must be mentioned so that the developers could know and improve their game. But...

Not only that, even the unorthodox shots are completely useless and ineffective except for reverse sweep. Most of them don't connect at all and even if they do, they don't travel much. Even the advanced shots don't feel as fluid or satisfying to hit. I would say the advanced shots peaked in DBC...

@MattW Something wrong is happening with one of the best features of the patch, the Test the Best mode. I hope this gets fixed soon.

I am pretty sure we would get news about the new game in the upcoming Ashes Series. But I don't know why they are releasing numerous patches for this game if they aren't trying to improve the gameplay.
