Yes, wasn't expecting a demo. It looks great, even with my very old NVIDIA 1080 GPU, which I'm planning to upgrade this year. It'll take me a while to get used to the new swing mechanics, though, and I'm still going to wait for a sale, before purchase.

Is anyone playing the game? I really struggled with the first Early Access releases, so I gave up. Now that they have a tutorial, I've jumped back into the game, but haven't had time yet to do anything other than go through the tutorial a few times.

Apexhound has more details. The Game will include the The Open, the US Open, and the PGA Championship, and, of course, the course designer. The graphics look really good. I'll wait till it goes on sale.

Apart from the pain of training in career mode to use my skill points, I'm loving the game.

For anyone still thinking about whether to buy the game, there is a free weekend from Thursday Jan 9 7pm CET to Monday Jan 13 7pm CET.

My inability to complete the career training within the number of tries allowed, and thus use my skill points to increase my player's attributes, is my biggest frustration with the game right now. I really wish the game would allow my retries.

Thanks. I can see I made some mistaken assumptions. I assumed that they implemented the custom difficulty identically to the way it was done in their cricket game, where every slider had a setting that corresponded to a standard difficulty level. I see now that that is only true for some...

How did you select legend difficulty AND custom sliders? When you choose a match difficulty I see that you can only select a standard difficulty or custom. I don't see how you can combine a standard difficulty with custom sliders.

There is a button on the controller for challenging. Just look at the control mapping in settings. Yes, I agree that the AI slices too many shots now.

I'm also playing on Medium difficulty and having a good time with the game. The only problem I have is that, completing the training in career mode in order to use the skill points I've earned, is very hard.

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm only seeing points awarded after the point is played.
