Try deleting the folder and reinstalling the game without scout. That would be my guess. Unfair advantages as in altering the stats so that every player is an expert batsman (including the bowlers).

At a guess, I'd say that the Scout program is detected by the game and hence will not let you play online, as game modifications can give players unfair advantages in online matches.
