use the older detonator drivers(version 30.xx works fine for me), it fixes the menu crash when quitting from a game. I'm pretty sure the menu crash is caused by the new detonator driver 'cause i had the same problem and then reverted back to the old nvidia driver.

crc(cyclice redundancy check) errors could be caused by alot of things, if it's only the cds which arn't working, try running the cd from another cdrom drive, if that still doesn't work, test the cds on another computer, other causes can be viruses, other hardware as well(memory,mobo comes to mind).

no..when you quite from in game, the main menus(the 2d ones) are still screwed up.. btw only thing i've really notices about this patch is that it REMOVED CD PROTECTION...i found out because i started playing the game and then saw my cd on the desk =D

the ingame menu control bug still exisits also, when you quite from a game, the menu still screws up =/ does anyone have those problems resolved by the patch??

yeah, leak a copy of the patch, doesn't even matter if it's the "Earliest" one since i want to play the #### game without haveing to restart it everytime i quite to the menus #### menus doesn't work on any directX part from 8.0b

i don't think the menu stuff up when returning from a game is a geforce4 problem, i think it's because of using directX 8.1 rather than directX 8.0. i had no problems with playing on geforce 4 until i installed xp service pack 1, now it's totally screwed when i return from a game

you mean you want to edit the save games?? using a hex editor would be a good start.... then you got to work out if the saved game is encrypted or not(i havn't looked at the .gam files at all) if it isn't you should be able to find what you need to edit by trial and error

easy, i'm the guy writting the player editor, and there are 20 teams stored within the game.. all players of the 20 teams have stats, names, postions i'm just waiting for someone to unlock them and tell me what are the extra hidden teams so i can give those teams names.

hehe i won't be downloading anything unlesss all 20 teams(yes there are 20 teams) are playable and properly unlocked. but good job unlocking the hb team.

i'll see if it's possible or not.. i'm guessing though that the starting lineup is decided by the CPU based on the stats and pitch/weather conditon and the types of the games played. anyway i'm having trouble uploading new version of the editor to the cricket 2002 site, something about URL...
