I haven't paid enough attention lately to compare. But I recall people preferring the ftp match engine. Maybe it's worse for playing bots or in matches between new teams, but better as teams mature? not really sure.

all a bit after the lord mayor's show, really. the event was the ireland game. hard to get up again for a friendly, regardless of who you are playing. For once this game meant more to the england players.

I think in general you definitely need a few friendlies, play teams from different continents for variety so you're prepared for world cups. world cup preparation should be a constant thing rather than just doing entirely separate 2 year blocks tournament to tournament as you rarely change your...

It's definitely a bit different to the rest of England. I wouldn't say it's better or worse. It's pretty much as different to london/the other english cities as the scottish cities are.
