    Brad Haddin - Cheat?

Reading through the posts here it doesn't look like anyone doubts that the bail was dislodged by Haddin's gloves, not the ball. So that's what really annoys me about this. Haddin still said that after watching the replay that he is 100% sure that the ball dislodged the bail first. No one who...

    Brad Haddin - Cheat?

After watching the replay he's sure the ball hit the bails first and then bounced up into his gloves. What an idiot!!! He must be the only person who watched the replay and saw it that way. The other difference between this and the Collingwood incident is that Collingwood was at least man...

New Zealand in Australia Nov-Dec 2008 Feb 2009

Haddin is an absolute disgrace. If I remember right, Greg Dyer's career ended abrubtly after an equally disgraceful incident in the 80's. Hopefully the same thing happens to this low life. Now Ponting has come out defending Haddin and saying that Vettori is in the wrong for "basically claiming...

    New Zealand in England

Couldn't disagree more. McCullum has to play his natural game. He is an agressive player and it's his natural instinct to attack. It won't work for him or the team if he tries temper that too much. He looks to change the momentum of a game by taking the game to the bowlers and putting pressure...

    England in New Zealand

That's what I want to see from Ryder. We all know he can take attacks apart, but it will be good to see how he goes when the conditions aren't so much in the batsmens favour. Only then will we know if he really is a one day opener. Great innings from him and McCullum tonight though.

    Most Memorable Moment

Richard Hadlee bowling Steve Waugh with the perfect delivery at the Basin. Inswinger pitches on middle, cuts away and hits the top of off stump. Nothing Waugh could do.

I'm surprised Mitchell has been left out. I thought he was one of Australias up and coming stars. He's always looked a class act to me. Good looking backline anyway though. It will be interesting to see if the tight five performs better than last year.

I see Ewen McKenzie is going to lodge an official complaint about the ref. I must admit, the collapsed scrum penalty was a strange one. There is no reason why Baxter would want to take that scrum down. But was the ref that bad? The advantage he didn't give the Waratahs when they were in...

The money we spent on paying him off was well worth it. :D

Good to see the Panthers getting back on track though. Things didn't look too good in the first 15 but they did well to turn things around. And great to see the Warriors beat the defending premiers for the second time this season. Stupid time that the game was on though. They were playing...

Yeah, the Crusaders are the masters of peaking at the right time. It was funny a couple of weeks ago when the media were all saying how the wheels were falling off after their lose to the Stormers. I think we all knew they would be there at the end.

    Who is your role model?

You must be talking about Pig Styris. A great role model for all. :D

We will have to agree to disagree on this one. My point is that the Waratahs had already reached their peak well before the semis while the Hurricanes were doing just enough to win games. I think the Waratahs were probably at their best at around the time they beat the Brumbies. The difference...

What you're saying is that the Waratahs were a better side at the end of the season than the Hurricanes and Chiefs. Had they played them earlier in the season I think they would have beaten them because they were playing better. Neither the Hurricanes or the Chiefs were near their peak then. To...

A few people have said that NSW choked. They didn't choke. They simply weren't good enough at the business end of the season. In the mid stages of the season, they were probably the best performing team in the comp. I thought then that if they could continue to improve that they would be the...

Great effort from the Canes. Close game, could have gone either way. The collapsed scrum decision at the end was a big call. Waratahs had the momentum at that stage and would most likely have gone on and won it. Hopefully the boys can get the job next week. Great to finally see the Hurricanes...

    NRL Telstra Premiership 2006

They have come close in most of their games but they always find ways to lose. They lack the firepower to put teams away when they've got them under pressure. I think they struggle to find the balance between playing structured footy and relying on their natural flair.

Win a World Cup or a series in Australia?

That series is one that I'll never forget, just like the one where NZ came so close to beating the Aussies but were denied in Perth. The fact that both India and NZ got so close to beating Australia in Australia is something that I will always remember. Every bit as much as I will remember who...

    Mubarak and Tharanga

Maybe useless is a bit harsh. What people really mean is that he isn't up to international standard. It doesn't matter how much practice he has he will most likely never be up to it. Sri Lanka should realise this now and give someone else an opportunity.

I'd almost forgotten about that drop kick. Great kick it was, but what a dumb time to do it. Australian teams always look really good when they keep the ball in hand and they keep coming with wave after wave of attack. I know straight away when our teams are in trouble against the Aussies...
