I have to say it's taken a while but I finally did it - A Century! Took until my third season as a number 3 batsman. Didn't get it until I started playing in the English P40 cup - 129* after an opening match of 32* and 3/0 bowling handy off spin (Pro difficulty). Bring on the XP. Still struggle...
Maybe try moving your batsman across the crease to cover off stump, playing the spin a bit later and going with the square/cover drive. Or if you're game, going with the charge (R1).
Anomaly - Playing a leg glance down the throat of deep fine leg - I have never seen this happen in all my experience of watching and playing cricket! haha
There are no reviews in First Class (4 day) mode. Just remember to not waste a review on your partner at the other end - no one cares about his 50/50 LBW decision, save it for yourself! haha!
EA won't go back to cricket due to money - simple as that - they are too money hungry to bother with cricket again. DBC14 is as close to cricket as there has been so far. Unless you are a super casual cricketer then this is worth it.

Description of Issue: Rain interrupted game says match reduced to 12 overs, however simulated innings lasts 16 overs - has happened twice that I can recall.
I bat at 3 for WA/Perth, so I bat with Voges a lot, all he does while I'm there is smash absolutely everything and end up with no more than 20 from 10 balls haha. Shaun Marsh and I end up with the big partnerships.
1. A bit more attention to detail with the presentation - just simple things like showing the scorecard after 'simulating to player' would go a long way to the basic enjoyment and immersion to the in-game scenario.
2. Classic matches/scenarios or challenges to give a bit of variety.
3. More...
Try pressing right on the d-pad to get a gauge on your confidence, then use this to adjust the frequency of defending balls versus playing shots, (good vs bad balls). I have found that by playing myself in, I am less likely to nick behind or play back on to the stumps by a miss-shot.
Also, as...
I definitely get an aura of invincibility at the start of a new season, thinking I'm gods gift to batting at first drop and that two seasons of experience will make me brilliant on an entirely new level, doesn't exactly translate to the scorecard haha!
This forum should be limited to career mode only. To score a hundred with one of the players on your team isn't really a high score when you have effectively ten chances to score big in the one innings.
My career highs are now a top of 77 (77) in a 50 over game, 51 in shield and 55 in T20.
Haven't experienced it since super early in career mode when I was initially learning. I am now quite careful with my running between the wickets and when things get hectic I keep the sprint/slide button down which keeps things sorted. Being careless by calling for runs that aren't there is...
