ALL ESSENTIAL PATCHES FOR EA CRICKET 2004 PC

Just thought I might point out a few potential errors of judgement in the geocities site link online that compares two legendary cricket games to one another, BLC 99 and EA Cricket 2004. Point number 6 - while BLC99 can track basic career statistics indefinitely for up to 20 cricketers, C04...

Things you might know and things you probably didn't know in 2023 about Brian Lara Cricket 99 for the PS1.

As some might already know, I discovered through hex-editing how to have 90 overs per day instead of 75 overs in unlimited-over matches in BLC99 for the PS1 which I talked about elsewhere on this site, and how to change the stats of the players in BLC99 PS1 to their correct stats at the time of...

CLASSIFYING A PLAYER AS AGGRESSIVE, MODERATE OR DEFENSIVE?

Hi everyone. This one is for the purists. When you create or edit a player in any cricket game, what is the best threshold to use when it comes to deciding whether to classify the plsyer as aggressive, moderate or defensive? If a batsman's real-life strike-rate is 60+ in test cricket, should he...

90 overs per day of a test match in Brian Lara Cricket 99 for PS1

Update: I just found out also how to hex edit the starting time to 10:30am and the finishing time to 6:30pm, so that one does not have to wait as much as 3 hours (10:00am to 1:00pm) for the first interval, since normally an interval in unlimited overs is every 2 hours. This would obviously...

90 overs per day of a test match in Brian Lara Cricket 99 for PS1

Another thing too that you might already know is that by editing players and player names you might as well turn the commentary off otherwise Jonathan Agnew will refer to the new players with the wrong names. There is probaby a way to remove only the part of Agnew's commentary where he mentions...

90 overs per day of a test match in Brian Lara Cricket 99 for PS1

timmy94, I have already shared so many hacks and patches on other cricket games - I have written probably the biggest unofficial guide for the DOS version of Brian Lara 1994 around, and I have posted probably one of the best, if not the best, available guide for all available patches for the PC...

90 overs per day of a test match in Brian Lara Cricket 99 for PS1

Yes I'm aware. I was testing this game on my laptop with epsxe in a 800x600 resolition even though my desktop resolution is much higher. This gives the game a CRT-shape view on a widescreen, with two black borders on each side of the screen. But when you take a screenshot under these settings...

90 overs per day of a test match in Brian Lara Cricket 99 for PS1

Well, well, after a very, very long time behind the desk, I have finally figured out how to reverse-engineer BLC99 for the PS1 so that the starting-time of each day of a test match or any unlimited-overs match is at 10:00am instead of 11:00am, thus enabling the amount of overs per day to extend...

    Brian Lara Cricket ‘99

I believe it never rains during a match in EA Sports Cricket 2002... Is that correct?

Yes I did. In fact, I managed to do it exactly 2 days ago.

ALL ESSENTIAL PATCHES FOR EA CRICKET 2004 PC

I'm sure alot of people by now have noticed in EA Cricket 2004 when you are batting, especially against spinners, that is very hard to get the ball past the fielder; so while its easy to get ball-on-bat, the ball is too often hit straight to the fielder. Sometimes the ball is hit fast but...

ALL ESSENTIAL PATCHES FOR EA CRICKET 2004 PC

Probably not. Remember the game came out in 2003. People were still using CRT monitors at that time, so it was probably not designed to be played in a very high resolution. If I'm wrong and you still want to play in very high res, then update your graphics drivers or use a different graphics card.

ALL ESSENTIAL PATCHES FOR EA CRICKET 2004 PC

I cant say I have had too many problems with extras by the CPU... Try to never play on Hard or Dusty pitches. Try using Normal only.

    EA Cricket 2005

Most if not all cricket games come with their fair share of bugs, but the PC versions of EA 2004, 2005 and 2007 are better than the PS2 versions because they can be easily patched. I read somewhere that when EA Cricket 2004 is fully patched up and bug-fixed, it becomes the best cricket game of...

ALL ESSENTIAL PATCHES FOR EA CRICKET 2004 PC

Lol. And I thought I was a fussy p Lol and I thought I was a fussy cricket purist... I don't remember Lee and Akhtar "consistently" going over 160. They may have done it "occasionally"... I only remember them "consistently" going over 150... Not 160. Even Jeff Thompson was not "consistent" with...

    Brian Lara Cricket ‘99

I played this game for 4 years on the PS1 in my younger days. Even for a PS1, the graphics of this game were on the lower end. I also played the PC version. I didn't like the fact that test matches were only around 75 overs per day in this game as opposed to 90 overs per day as in real life. I...

Audiogenic's 1994 cricket game for DOS

THE UNOFFICIAL STRATEGY & REVERSE-ENGINEERING GUIDE FOR AUDIOGENIC'S BRIAN LARA CRICKET FOR DOS. Okie dokie. I am writing a detailed guide for the first cricket game that was actually worth playing and worth keeping, Brian Lara Cricket 94, a.k.a Graham Gooch World Class cricket, a.k.a Allan...

Audiogenic's 1994 cricket game for DOS

I find it very difficult to believe I am the only person in the whole world in the last 26 years to have discovered these modifications to the game. If other people already know about these modifications, there must be a reason why they have not disclosed them online or anywhere else at large...
