If his plan is to blow people away via licensing, he really needs to rethink things. He’s seemingly been commenting more on the BA forum, more so regarding Rugby 24 though. I’d chime in but I’d likely upset him and get banned
I think a lot of people expected something like the NBA and WWE games with what they’ve done with the career mode, but that was always going to be a big ask given this game is likely just to test the waters and build for future games, but who knows
I can’t see Tiebreak edging ahead given...
It’ll be interesting to see how this next update goes. It was due out last week, but I guess it’s taking longer than expected. You’d have to hope they’ve rectified a few issues they introduced with the last one
Ah right true, they might as well transfer all creations across to this game if they are keeping the same system. More so given it’s going to be a while before most people actually decide to buy the game
The whole creation system is a copy and paste from the last game, the venue creator alone is pretty basic.
I haven’t even noticed venues brought over from the old game, just test copies etc, unless that’s them
The writing was on the wall before the Nacon partnership. I remember reading on Glassdoor about employee reviews, all of which said he was an absolute nightmare to work for, unrealistic expectations etc.
Not defending Nacon as they are just as bad as each other. I’d dare say if Cricket 24...
The fact he replies to little things like this is infuriating, but actively ignores or just blocks any feedback about actual important issues in their games.
I wish Ross would just admit they couldn’t handle 4 games for such a small development company ♂️ Won’t surprise me if they’re using the gameplay base from the last rugby league title from 7 years ago
Communication really hasn’t gone well on this one, not really sure why people got so excited over a teaser trailer that showed zero gameplay. This was due out for early access this month, just a few days left of March and nothing has been said
Someone mentioned on Reddit that the Top Spin IG page followed a lot more players recently, including Nadal, Djokovic etc. So far they’ve only followed players they’ve either now confirmed or have been rumoured to be using. It’ll be strange if Tiebreak ends up having more licensed players than...
The AI is quite broken, even on expert difficulty it’s quite easy to win a match as the amount of unforced errors, especially when the AI seems to come to the net a lot.
Knowing how BA operate, I can’t see them leaving it at its current price. All of their games are overpriced really.
But anyway, looking forward to seeing more of TopSpin up until release
Have to remember that Tiebreak will be double its current price once it goes to a full release, whenever that may be.
I’d imagine TopSpin will cost more still here in Australia, but I’m definitely not missing out on launch, the temptation will be too great
The net play is still quite bad, the AI still often hits the ball into the net when at that net, either that or they smack it way out the back of the court, I've seen a few massive shanks that go directly upward and the AI actually tries to chase after it...
The AI for the most part still can't...
All I’ve heard is that they are updating team lists for AFL 23, that’s about it. Hard to take anything anyone from BA says seriously after so many broken promises
