Highest numbers the game has ever hit due to the free weekend. First time it has passed 100 players on Steam since August, most seem to be not enjoying it though from what I've seen.
Still the same, I feel it's going to be a tough ask for them to be able to this for so many licensed players. But I mean you'd think they would've at least tried to do this for some of the big names by now.
Thing I've noticed is that the AI has gone back to slicing the majority of shots, I feel like they should focus on the fundamentals more than adding way too many things into the all at once.
I wish there was a way to see console stats like there is with SteamDB. Even with all the updates, seems to be less and less playing on PC. The peak came on the official release back in August and hasn’t cracked 100 concurrent players since then. I’d love to see console stats, but I don’t think...
Reality is that a game that should have a global player base, is barely being played. I’d dare say the ATP & WTA can’t be pleased with how this has gone so far.
It’s crazy seeing more people are playing AFL 23 on Steam compared to Tiebreak. Especially considering one is meant to be a global game, while the other is largely only relevant to Australia.
Biggest issue is they aren’t bringing in the numbers for the game to be successful. Whether that’s down to a lack of marketing or just people being weary of their history, it’s hard to say. Would be good if there was a way to see stats for consoles like there is with SteamDB.
Just saw how doubles plays, I feel that highlights how bad some movement and animations are. Not to mention player’s inability to volley still and poor net play.
Sadly there’s some people who refuse to believe me when I explain how much of a downward spiral Big Ant has had and the constant broken promises.
If people want to buy their games thinking they are going to fix all the glaring issues, then good for them I guess, I’d rather people save their...
I wish I could say that I was surprised about this being a copy and paste of Rugby League Live 4, and to think they were gonna do a full release of this last September
A big roster doesn’t always translate into a good game. As it stands there’s no individual play styles, they never learned from that with the AO series.
If the truly want to make this the best tennis game ever, they’ll need to add in a lot more to show that no two players play the same, not to...
They really need to start marketing this game if they want it to sell, I'd dare say most people don't even know it exists and won't, unless something changes from Big Ant or Nacon.
Even with the current gameplay, I'd imagine people put off by Top Spin will give it a go at least, although I feel...
They seem to struggle balancing difficulty the past few games, sometimes expert is too easy and now it’s impossible to get to most returns as your players feel like they are stuck in the mud.
Not a good sign that they avoided showing gameplay for the most part and still shows awkward movement and animations at the end of trailer with Djokovic etc
The majority on Big Footy aren't enjoying it, still seems to be a lot of glaring issues. Ross really needs to own it and admit taking on 4 games on the fly was a bad idea, but yeah unlikely to happen.
I find it difficult to trust much of what Ross says after all the broken promises over the years.
They can say anything, but actions speak louder than words.
Gameplay hasn't really made any dramatic improvements, most people hate the adrenaline thing they added in. They really need to focus more on gameplay, awkward movements and more fluid animations before all the cosmetic stuff.
