Something that bugs me a bit - when sprinting between the wickets, the batters don't put their bat down until it's already over the line. They also don't seem to dive until they're too close to the crease. I'm guessing a change was made to stop players from accidentally diving halfway down the...
Anything relating to commentary is an utter waste of time, money and development. Have it in there, but don't go too hard.
Most important things: better in-built editors, improved AI, more animations for batters and bowlers (think how FIFA improves from year to year because of this), ability...
Back to the Ashes! I've started to find more form - and patience - lately, culminating in a reasonably quick but not too outlandish 151 in the inaugural innings of the First Test.
Having that square drive makes an IMMENSE difference to how this game plays. Loving it, although it'd be nice if...
Whoops, been AWOL for a while. fearsome tweak AAA season.
As for the triggers - they're excellent, in fact. I find any games that specifically use them a lot - racing, for instance - are 100000000% more enjoyable to play than using the DS4.
Having the official drivers means you get a better force...
I've got a PS4 and a Xbox One controller hooked up to my PC. For what it's worth, it's a million times easier to rotate the stick on the PS4 controller.
I agree that slow short bouncers are pretty easy to cart to the boundary.
The ones that are bigger problems are slow drifters from spinners. It's not so bad if you have a perfect connection, but if there's any lag at all it can be difficult to time these perfectly (restricting the amount of...
In fairness to developers, I don't think that statement holds up. Ross can probably attest to a number of fixes and changes that even Big Ant have made under the hood that maybe aren't fully appreciated or even noticed by fans here. And for major AAA games, things like your Titanfalls and...
I've found in T20's that's one of the most reliable ways to get 4s since even if you botch the shot chances are you'll still get 3 and you can get away with it even if the ball is about to career into middle stump.
I take it you mean both versions of the cut.
I'll give it a go tonight. Point is kind of the one region I don't really exploit enough. I want that pretty wagon wheel!
No matter what the format, the best chance of ramping up your points will always be:
a) T20s (particularly for all-rounders)
b) Spending 150-200 balls in a first class match
c) Grinding out net sessions
d) Advancing down the wicket and hitting as many sixes as possible
Dancing down the wicket...
That's kind of what I'm after though; I want to practice that in the nets so I can level up my weaker traits (at the moment, flat bat and back foot skills).
