I've got the switch version on pre-order, think I'll be cancelling that. If / when they sort out in the issues might give it a go but don't fancy chucking £50 away on a game that doesn't seem to be finished.
Cricinfo has the better UI, especially when it comes to mobile. The quality of their reporting is dropping rapidly and very clear bias shows. Its still the go to place for me though.
The Cricketer have launched an app but the UI is pretty terrible and they've decided to paywall content form day...
Obviously not great as he's married but this seems to be from a few years ago and has already been investigated and it was found to be "consensual, private, occurred on the one occasion only, was between mature adults and was not repeated". Unless there's more to this story not really sure why...
This being Englands strongest squad just shows how short on depth we are. Take Stokes and Archer out and you can't really see anything past a 5-0 defeat unless Australia suddenly rivals England for days lost to rain and we get a draw somewhere.
With how long Archer has been out, and the number...
Exactly, if EA, the second largest gaming company on the planet, can only manage annual tweaks to their biggest franchise what are the odds of a relatively small Aussie gaming company doing a total from the ground up rebuild of their cricket franchise?
Agree with this. Look at FIFA, with over 325 million copies sold you get a minor tweak every year. Not much chance that Cricket 22 is going to be a radically different game built from the ground up.
What a finish to the county championship season.
Not really sure there's a need for the extra game next week. Why not just give the Bob Willis Trophy to the winner of the Championship.
At what point do you rule it a catch and anything that follows is irrelevant? Looks to me like he caught it, had control of the ball, and two feet on the ground before the contact with the second player.
Something obviously changed. If NZ just didn't want the tour to go ahead they would have pulled out long before this and not travelled to Pakistan. Without knowing what that change was it's impossible to take a view if what NZ has done is the right decision. Admittedly it is rather strange that...
Looking at the current schedule for next summer you'd struggle to fit the test in let alone a test and extra T20s unless they start playing games back to back. Isn't there a minimum number of days off mandated between tests? Sure that was mentioned as a reason all tests don't start on Thursdays...
I get wanting to support your team but you can't change the facts to suit. This is the ECB statement:
That was of course the second statement, the first said:
The ECB have also requested that the ICC begin the adjudicating process to rule on the result of the match so they are clearly not...
Nobody in cricket, or any other sport for that matter, seems to understand the concept of over saturation. Things like a test against India or an Ashes series, or any test series really, used to be a huge deal but now its a constant treadmill of game after game.
Then they wonder why interest...
I don't have much sympathy with the ECB when it comes to a lot of things but they've been totally screwed over here by the BCCI. They bent over backwards to accommodate the IPL.
They offered to stage games in England, allowed England players to miss the tour of Pakistan to play IPL and created...
Really? England played test matches during The Hundred hence the international players being missing from many of The Hundred games.
Moeen Ali was the face and captain of Birmingham Phoenix, they even had a mural of him painted in Birmingham. Didn't stop the ECB calling him up to the test team...
