    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I've come across 9 teams submitted by R-D-B3: South Africa Australia Pakistan Zimbabwe West Indies England New Zealand Bangladesh Sri Lanka I found the India kit under a team submitted by shashwatchaurasiya. I've never been able to find Kenya and Scotland though.

    SalmanWahidi's Creations for Cricket 24

It's pretty difficult to get real high-quality shots of them given the age of the bats. The ones at the top of these pages are about as good as it gets from what I can see. Hard to get side-on shots as well, unfortunately. GM Maxi...

    SalmanWahidi's Creations for Cricket 24

Would it be possible to get a Gunn & Moore Maxi and Hero to go with the wonderful GM Purist you did some time back? I've been tinkering with some early to mid-2000s teams/squads and they're two of the bats that are noticeably missing, especially for the South Africans of the time. Like Chris...

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

As much as I like the idea and even put it forward myself a few years back, I imagine it would take quite a lot of work to implement. Over the years, we've seen enough examples of how relatively small changes in some areas have a huge negative effect elsewhere. You're talking about not only...

I'm pretty sure it's called West Oval because it's not actually a licenced ground. I think it's been in the game since DBC 14. I can't recall 100%, but I think it was listed as an Indian ground in Cricket 22 as well, so I assume it's just a carryover from that.

Huh. I wonder if improved AI bowling might include a decent line over the wicket to a left-hander now? Maybe even a better balance of wickets between spin and seam? If yes, that alone would be an immeasurable improvement from 22.

It's £15.49 on Steam right now. I suspect you'll struggle to find it much cheaper than that from a reputable source on a digital store.

Oh, you mean those EA and Codemasters (BLIC 2007 was the only outright bad release for me) games I had a ton of fun with at the time? Those games that weren't afraid to change things from release to release? I appreciated them for what they mostly were - fairly casual but immersive games that I...

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I figured I'd give it a try with the Steam refund policy in the back of my mind. Started a test and was immediately greeted by Hazlewood bowling a couple of overs of dross on Duckett's pads. Started a test v India - Leech's very first ball resulted in the same flick onto the pads we've seen in...

Unsure of the difficulty levels on show here, but it's all test match gameplay - I did like this dismissal at least - https://clips.twitch.tv/FrigidMoldyWalletFloof-wmiPa0SteA1YhGR6

Nothing to convince me at all. I'm taking very little notice of the current videos in terms of presentation and faces given none of it really matches up to the screenshots or teaser video so far. Assuming there is a day 1 patch, I would assume the disk versions are a long way behind given how...

I feel like anyone comparing BAS to Trickstar really didn't live through Ashes Cricket 2013. A genuine candidate for the worst game ever released, if not the worst by default.

The things you compare are just not the same. EA is so big that it can buy a developer like Codemasters. Codies itself is far from small and has several different development teams within it based in several different locations. There is very little excuse for any EA games to be poor when you...

I really appreciate the response to explain how some of this might work. That is the kind of thing I, and I'm sure others, like to see - something to explain just what is going on and maybe have some dialogue. I don't buy into the "it's going to be terrible" talk because there's nothing to...

While I appreciate where you're coming from, I think a lot of us would appreciate ANY info before parting with cash to find out if anything has improved. Something from the horse's mouth. I don't feel like the onus should be on us to buy the game and find that information out for ourselves. I...

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

It's been fascinating lurking in this thread over the last few months and seeing comments like this. It's a staggering comment when you look at the amount of games they've been involved with over the last few years. That's not to say they're free from criticism - far from it. I have plenty of...

Cricket 22 General Discussion thread (Use bug report thread for issues/bugs/crashes | Patch notes in first post)

I'm genuinely glad it isn't an issue for you, but evidently, there is something odd going on if multiple people are reporting it. :) We've also seen people not getting any bat/pad catches at all or even the dreaded bat/boot catch. I've seen such a massive increase in both the bat/boot and...
