Huh. This is something I was having occasionally before the Pro Team update. Not necessarily consistently, but it was definitely in the game before.

Did you get a response to your bug report? The way they responded to mine a few weeks ago didn't give me any hope that they were doing anything about the other academy issues. :laughter: But who would know? They never posted patch notes for the Pro Team update!

If that is real, it sums up exactly what has concerned me over the last two years of releases—too many games, too little time. Not only that, but it doesn't even mention Cricket 26, which is probably coming later this year! It doesn't give any space for a new game to breathe and flourish.

Oh, I 100% agree. I'm still frustrated we never got patch notes for the main update, along with no expanded notes for the fixes. I just wanted to keep the guys above in the loop, seeing as they were wondering what was happening with this specific thing. :)

If it's only Pro Team, it's completely lost on me. It's not my sort of thing, but that goes for FUT in FC/FIFA as well. I'd love to see some meaty improvements to the core game itself, like the AI (batting, bowling and fielding) and the academy issues. I can't imagine there will be big changes...

Seeing Gayle does make me wonder if a younger Jimmy Anderson might be on the cards? I couldn't take the 40-year-old face seriously while playing tests from the 2000s so I slapped in a very generic-looking version with slightly dyed hair. :D

Some (and I do emphasise only some) of that article would have made more sense at launch when the game was in a shocking state. Now it just reeks of laziness and not looking into how the game has developed (ignoring licences and a lot of features built specifically to make the game much easier...
