Definitely thread worthy. Discussion shouldn't have taken this path. Could have had a discussion comparing what others have done in the same period and what not. Unfortunate diversion.

Play Amit Mishra with Monish Parmar. Use Harbhajan as a cover for injuries. He is not good enough compared to other Indian spinners in this game. Or, use Praveen Kumar and Irfan Pathan as pace bowlers and play 3 spinners. Thats how I play.
Cricket is a game thats all about opinion. It goes around because of that. Some think Ponting is the best ever batsman in the world and some say its Lara. You force people to play a game based on Child's opinion when you say an editor is bad and all that.

You dont have to change it back to 2 bars after every session. If you ended the session on 3 bars, resume the next session on 2 bars. If you end a session on more than 5 bars, come down to 3 bars. Experiment a bit with various settings over a set no.of games or seasons to see if the trick works...
Any audience the IPL gets apart from the following in India is only a bonus. Nothing more than that. As long as it doesn't lose its fans in India, the tournament will be safe.
Thats part of the fun too. The domestic wannabes exposed by international bowlers.:p
And a few(two in a hundred) stepping up and making the stars look stupid. Eg. Yusuf Pathan Vs Murali in the finals of the first IPL edition.
The BCCI will be screwed by every cricket follower if it even thinks...
As far as I am concerned, test cricket doesn't need support from the 'lesser' T20 fans if it is the ultimate form of the game.;)
It can survive on its own. If T20 is as bad as it is made out to be, we can all rest easy knowing that T20s will soon become extinct and that test cricket will reign...
