10/10 realism from @wasteyouryouth not a soul watching this match could be surprised that Stuart Williams was dismissed trying to heave one off the back foot through the cover region Good to see the field placings are back to normal

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I think balance is the right way to go with the world's best just a little bit above and the less than players just a little bit below. From my limited tinkering of skills just to bring them down from the excessively high skills of the default players (IMO) it seems that fielding has a big...

I wish we could have unlimited created teams. What I did for DBC14 was create every touring team that came to Australia from WSC until about 2001 or 2002 (whatever the end for the retro Australian summer kits was) and just made the Australian teams (and any back to back touring teams) based off...

You will be pleased to know that after Mark Taylor top edged Ambrose for 6 the rest of the over was all short pitch deliveries lol I just realised that if/when Hooper gets a bowl the AI will crowd the bat again and will make me wish for a return of the ring field haha

Has the AI improved after the recent patch? I played a T20 between Waste's England and West Indies 90WC teams and the bowling was very tight from England and now in a 1992/93 Frank Worrell Trophy test the West Indies pace quartet has given me nothing I'm 1/28 at drinks (15 overs) with a top edge...

That is so unbelievably good, thank you waste! This era of West Indies I loved equally as much as Australia. They came out here a few times in the mid 90s which was the absolute peak of cricket obsession for me as a kid, the 1995 Frank Worrell trophy, 1996 world cup semi final epic, multiple...

Thanks appreciate the heads up, I'm always on the look out for the retro teams and players. Stephen Bailey is another who has created some wonderful teams :Cheersmate: There's some great 90s bats on there from a user called Puck1365 (or something like that)

I've put the game on the back burner until this issue gets fixed or waste releases more retro goodness, the only reason I still play the game is because of Waste's awesome creations (and the other retro legends but I don't know who they are)

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

So to expand on my experience, the AI did not change the field once during the entire first day of my test match from play now I hope this gets fixed soon. In saying that, even though the above claims about EA making a cricket would be next to no chance being real I wouldn't be excited at all...

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I just made it to lunch on day 1 of a test and the AI has not changed the field once it's been this same ring field for everyone including the spinners. The AI used to change the field almost every ball with the spinners and now they don't do it at all, it's amazing how BigAnt can regularly...

Looks like I forgot to save that one off test so I started a new one between Australia and South Africa at Lord's as preparation for the WTC final. There were 10 South African players that Waste has shared so I found a decent Paul Adams and matched his skills to Phil Tufnell, sadly there was no...

Playing a one off test at the SCG between Australia and England with both playing XIs being new players that waste recently shared which previously weren't released (besides Gooch, had to flesh out the English team a little bit) and it made for interesting lineups. The players look sensational...

I didn't want to highjack Waste's personal creation thread but a bit of PSA here that there are some cracking retro bats that are perfect for a lot of waste's retro world cup teams. I'm not sure why Judge is closing his eyes in the screenshot he must be bored plundering the touring English team...

That is amazing work @wasteyouryouth there's going to be some fun ashes tours coming up for me. I'll never understand how Devon Malcolm played so little for England I remember watching him in the 97 Ashes bowling as fast as lightning and that was when he was old and past it surely he got have...

Going through those players in the Australian team and based off previous players shared you can get the 2003 and maybe even the 2007 world cup teams out of them too 2003 - Hayden, Symonds, Lee, Gillespie and Hogg were shared in the 1990s and 2000s teams and there was an Andy Bichel too IIRC...

Amazing stuff as always waste. I hope that your parents can regain full health that's sad to hear, you've been a valuable member of the creation community for a long time and your work is always greatly appreciated, thank you. For some reason the 1996 World Cup kit is not showing properly:

@JNT BA Are you guys going to fix this issue of people not being able to share teams to the academy?

Fantastic stuff. I wish they didn't take out all the old retro hats so that you could give Jack Russell his little white floppy hat. @Stephen Bailey BigAnt don't care they won't fix this academy issue and we'll never get these amazing creations from waste

All fantastic creations there! I can't wait to burn reviews using Watto. The team limit is annoying I maxed it out in DBC 14 creating every team that toured Australia from WSC until the 2006/07 Ashes I don't see why we can't have unlimited teams, 2003 world cup teams would have been a nice...
