Rules
1. Only Country teams allowed
2. Owing to lag only 1 fast bowler allowed
3. 1 spinner is mandatory.
4. No advance shots to spinners
5. In case connection is lost on a match
a) If both players agree match would be started from scratch.
b). If either player objects to restarting from scratch the match would be restarted from where connection was lost.. so if you lose connection batting in the 10th over start an unranked match with no field restriction and score for next 10 overs would be counted.. while offcourse using the bowlers whose quota are left and using the batsmen who are left to bat.
6. In case of tie on positions NRR would come into account.
7. Teams finishing 1-2 in each group move to cup semi final. Teams finishing 3-4 in each group move to plate semi final.

What about field settings? Is it as you wish or will there be some gound rules such as not more than 2 close-in fielders in front of the wicket and at least 2 fielders on the boundary at all times?

Also, what happens in case there are online server problems and the game gets disconnected while the match is under way? I have been facing lot of connection issues lately.

I think the field settings are only a problem when you have fast bowlers bowling but with only 1 fast bowler allowed and rest medium pacers and spinners it shouldn't be a problem.. though I think it be best to decide on field stipulations once we have all 8 players.. I already have confirmation from 4 more players on joining so Im assuming we should be starting a debate on it very soon.

I just finished a 4 team tournament with RIZZYX and eflindor we followed the rule of
1. restarting the match from scratch if both players agree
2. in case either player doesnt want to start match from beginning we used to restart from where connection was last.. so if you lose connection batting in the 10th over we used to restart match bowling 6 aimless overs for field stipulations and the next 10 counted.. while offcourse using the same bowlers and batsmen who were left.

i think rule of mandatory using 1 spinner is not good coz spinners go for a lot of runs and ruin the game experience specially when the game is setup nicely

so plz chuck of that rule if possible

Mostly everyone plays at night their local time
I and lonewolf are from India so 5GMT mostly
Elfindor and RIZZYX are from UK so around 8GMT
Thandamilk is in US
Where are you from?

I am sure timings can be worked around besides timings would be common for a lot of players as most players are from USA, Subcontinent and England. Also the players due to play can set up a common time in advance in case the times they are on are different.
