The Arab League Cup, simply and commonly known as the Arab Cup is an international 50-over cricket tournament.
Contested amongst the top cricket-playing nations of the Arab world, the tournament is considered to be the "Crown Jewel of Arabia".
The 2003 Arab Cup was the inaugural edition of the tournament, fittingly held in Saudi Arabia from September 1st to 12th.
Saudi Arabia emerged victorious after defeating Morocco by 15 runs in the final played at the Al-Kharj Cricket Ground in Riyadh.
Israeli captain Asher Golan was adjudged Player of the Tournament for scoring 398 runs in 5 innings, the most by any batter in the tournament.
