Dominic Cork led from the front as Hampshire Royals bowled-out Rajshahi Rangers for a very mediocre 139 - claiming 3 wickets for just 6 runs. He however, was not the top wicket-taker for the Royals in this innings. That was Dimitri Mascarenhas with a 4-wicket haul.
A 4-wicket haul which blew Rajshahi's top-order out of the water. Qaiser Abbas and Anisur Rehman saved face for Rajshahi but they could only manage to get the Rangers to a respectable total. A total that is respectable, but will take some effort with the ball to make competitive.

Southern Redbacks amass the highest score this season as they finish with 211/7 with Kieron Pollard and Cameron Borgas being the top run-scorers with knocks of 81 and 68, respectively. A top-order collapse would've prompted any other team into temporary submission, but the Redbacks seemed to lash out at the mere thought of being put on the back foot. Pollard and Borgas smashed VRA Cricket Club's bowlers all over the park, and Adil Rashid put the finishing touch in the end overs to push them past 200.
Amil Prasad impressed with four wickets, all prominent names. But his economy rate undid all the good his dismissals brought to his team. Prasad conceded 52 in his four overs, the worse in a long line of bad economical figures. Berend Westdijk's 23 runs in his 4.0 overs was the only impressive bowling performance, but he went wicketless.

Kieron Pollard shined with the bat, and now he shines with the ball! What an important part he has become of the Redbacks' unit. Brad Moses and Tom Cooper displayed amazing cricketing skills, but were ultimately outdone by the more-experienced on-paper side. A blitz at the top-order and some fiery batting down below padded Cooper and Moses' fifties, but it still wasn't enough to fetch the win against the Redbacks' bowlers.
Despite it being a batsmen's track, Redbacks' bowlers did well, especially in the middle overs. Nathan Lyon was the most economical but he went wicketless. Pollard bagged 2 wickets but at 9-an over. Kane Richardson going at 11-an over was the only sore sight in the Redbacks' bowling card. A 31-run victory has sent to the top of the pool, and hence, to Quarter-Final Two at Abu Dhabi. This defeat sends VRA Cricket Club tumbling out of Champions League.

Samuel Badree and Sunil Narine were once again the stars for Trinidad & Tobago with the former picking up two wickets in the 3rd over to halt Auckland Aces' fiery start. Samuel Badree's double-strikes were only a slight hurdle as Auckland Aces found rhythm once again and continued punishing T&T. Colin de Grandhomme and Colin Munro both scored cornerstone fifties to lift their team to a massive score. Gareth Hopkins' 10-ball 27 was the cherry on top as Auckland Aces set T&T a 183-run behemoth to chase.
Ravi Rampaul picked two wickets but was taken to the cleaners as he conceded 50 runs in his 4.0 overs. Sunil Narine claimed two wickets as well, but was a little on the expensive side. Samuel Badree's only two wickets came in the 3rd over and he was the most economical out of the three - finishing with figures of 2/16 in 3.0 overs. Kevon Cooper and Rayad Emrit did not have a good day with the ball.

WHAT A VICTORY! A fantastic cameo from Kevon Cooper seals an incredible run-chase for Trinidad & Tobago. Daren Ganga and Jason Mohammed powered T&T with calm and collected knocks. The duo capitalized fantastically on Darren Bravo's blitzy start to the innings. However, timely wickets brought Auckland Aces back into the game. With 17 runs required off the last over, Kyle Mills struck on the second ball to remove Jason Mohammed. The equation being 16 off 4, Kevon Cooper went hell for leather and scored exactly that in the four deliveries he faced to take his team over the line. A last-ball four delivered his team a brilliant win.
Auckland Aces were unable to find a break in the middle during that audacious Daren Ganga and Jason Mohammed partnership, and even after they did, they were unable to capitalize on it and turn the momentum around. Andre Adams was the pick of the bowlers with 2 scalps to his name at 7-an over. Kyle Mills and Michael Bates had harrowing figures.
