Not a big concern tbh. They have been playing without him and have others who can jump in to do his bidding.

Personally, this is ridiculous and cowardice from Quinton de Cock. If you do not believe in it, so be it. A better future might have awaited him elsewhere( read ECB-who would have already begun hiring their lawyers in order to poach him)

My views on BLM: Its preposterous!

Bending the knee, is not going to take away racism from the world. Are we that dumb that we have begun resorting to antics seen on social media and have started employing them in real life? 'Like this Image and you will end up feeding a kid'
Furthermore, why should Black Lives only matter? Why not All Lives? The ideology of weeding our racism by highlighting the word BLACK, in itself is racist. De Cock's praise of Temba too-am pretty sure its driven by the vile South African board. Praising a Black captain for absolutely no rhyme or reason!
Oh god - I am just going to comment on this one because the others have responded to the rest of the post quite well.

Temba publicly supported de Kock after the incident and called him "one of the boys". It only made sense that de Kock returned the genuine gesture with a genuine call out to Temba. Unfortunately, all you can see is de Kock praising a Black captain :spy

Coming to today's match, I think if it was in Sharjah, I'd have said 60-40, but since it's in Dubai, I think it's 80-20 in favour of Pakistan. Afghanistan's batting is a bit "Windies lite", they play a lot of dots and try to hit sixes to make up. Sharjah has short boundaries which favour hitting, while in Dubai and Abu Dhabi a more "old school" batting lineup like Pakistan's can thrive, with a lot of strike rotation and conserving wickets for the death overs. Playing the Afghan spinners will be key, obviously. Would've liked Mohammad Wasim Jr. in the lineup, to attack with high pace (he can hit as well), but Pakistan won't disturb a winning combination.

West Indies are looking far from defending champions here...
Yeah, pretty much like India in 2009, and Pakistan in 2010, and England in 2012, and Sri Lanka in 2016.

I think West Indies winning in 2012 and going to the semi-finals in 2014 is the best a defending champion has done in WT20 history. I know Pakistan did the same in 2010, but those who remember, remember how much of a fluke that really was. We literally won one game in the Super 8s to get there. Sure seems like a jinx, this.
