This is why we should have more teams contesting regularly with each other! What a wonderful world cup this has been! An Asian champion playing in the qualifiers, the only two time champions not even able to qualify to the super12s and teams like Ireland and Zimbabwe showing they can lock horns with the big boys of cricket if they get a chance. Even India's performance was nowhere near dominating against The Netherlands. Remove Surya's innings and India would have struggled to reach 160 today.

If only ICC could see the potential in having more countries play with bigger teams regularly, the sport would grow and also become much more interesting.

Zimbabwe can be a good team if their board & country wasnt corrupt af, they have lost some good players over the years to England mostly. Shaheen is injured, not sure why is he even playing (PCB, Coach, Captain) are gonna ruin his career :/ Big win for Zimbabwe but don't think Pakistan is the best t20 side in the world (their batting is just shit)

I agree Shaheen does not look like Shaheen. They are playing with his career by getting him into the side early. I am happy BCCI did not do the same with Bumrah. All these players are young and will have ample of opportunities to play WC's. Except the very 1st delivery against KL, he has not looked dangerous at all.

I actually blame their opening batsman. No matter how much runs they have accumulated over the years and no matter what their rankings are, they are not scoring at a rate that will help the middle order. It is exactly like the pressure Indian openers most of the time put on Indian middle order batsman. In T20, you cannot be playing 40 ball 50 run inning until unless the pitch demands. You need to go wham bham! 90% of time Babar and Rizwan have not done that. Personally their stats are A+ but team wise, they have been the reason for a lot of loses as well.

More than the Pakistani people, DanielCricket will be sad today. I hope he does not break the TV and his internet as Sri Lanka is already in crisis and he might not be able to afford a new one!

Even if the latter does miraculously happen, I doubt we can get 3/3 when one of our games is against RSA. Gonna need to muster up all our energy against the Netherlands and Bangladesh, so doubt we're beating Proteas lol.
