Try as you may but with @icyman's blessing on our side you have competition Although it turns into a curse sometimesThis partnership already looking dangerous and 300 easily on the cards here.
Vijay Shankar's selection was inexcusable. Shardul Thakur is at least a better option. But he is already in the team, so cannot rule it out.
Yes, Pandya will be a big big miss if he won't play any further in this WC. Already India are such a mediocre lineup and with that I do not see us winning any more games. At that point it really wasn’t to be honest. He’s failed to do anything of note on the same level since then but there’s been plenty of cricketers that have fizzled out after their moment in the sun.
Pandya if injured badly will be a massive loss to the Indian side. Nobody else offers the flexibility he provides in terms of batting in the top six and being capable of bowling ten overs if needed. Going in with five bowlers will be a worrying problem too. What if someone else has a bad day or pulls up and we’re forced to endure Kohli bowling 5-6 overs again?
Worst part is that I can’t really think of a replacement for him that doesn’t involve a compromise of some kind.
Shows what you knowAs if watching the Stars get demolished as usual is any better.
Abe toh udhar jaake marana naa idhar kyu aaya hai ?Better finish in North Sydney than all World Cup so far.
