Well, the opening ceremony was good, for a change. Too bad the pitch was poor. Way too slow for a T20 match. Babar struggled, as he often does when batting first on slow pitches. To be fair to him, so did every other KK batsman apart from Sharjeel, who utilised his power well. Sultans' bowlers were tidy, but Imran Tahir was exceptional, taking 3-16 in 4 overs.
It was an easy chase for Sultans, anchored by Rizwan as usual, with Shan Masood playing a helping hand in the Powerplay and Sohaib Maqsood struggling to 30 off 31, which was good enough in the circumstances. Apart from Mohammad Nabi, none of the other KK bowlers were incisive enough. Hoping for a better pitch in the next matches.
