why do i keep going up and down the order? Is it because I keep beating you at hangman?

How can the legends be playing the donkeys?

Us donkeys are legends.

:doh

We need to see how many helium balloons it takes to lift Panda out of his cage.

I'm guessing a lot. I think we should get some industrial sized ones.

Hmmm.

Using maths, we'll need to figure out the strength of the upthrust of the balloons first. The high tech industrial sized on Burnsy here is talking about provide upto 40N of upthrust each.

We then take the mass of Panda and the cage, and multiply it by the rate of acceleration due to gravity to get the force provided by it. The upthrust from the balloons will need to exceed the force of Panda and the cage in order to raise it up.

The cage itself weighs in at 25 Kilos. As for Panda's weight, I don't know. Anyone want to risk getting him onto a scale?

Well, he's no longer a baby Panda so I'd be guessing soemwhere in the 80 -100 kg, well on the way to reaching his top weight of 130-150kg. After checking his photos I reckon we could safely put him at 95 kg.

Well when you put it like that, its pretty easy.

Question - Is food allowed in the cage?

Well, we'll have to account for the extra weight, but I think we should be able to manage. It really depends on how much food you intend on carrying?

And I think we'll place Panda's weight at 105 kilos. He's probably carrying on a few more pounds since he hasn't been playing much recently.

3 x Eskimoe Pies
5 x Coca Cola (Vanilla) bottles. 1.25L bottles
3.5 kg of shredded Bamboo Wheat Bix
1 x Cheap Tuesay meatlovers Pizza
1 x The head of Treva and his left hand.

We can fit objects 1-4, but Treva does have a fat head, so that will be an issue...

Can't we have any extra balloons, anyway?

:banana2
