Its also nice to see lots of ex-F1 and ex-DTM (Current) drivers in there.

Sorry for such a 'half-assed' copy & paste job!
I know that list is quite inaccurate aswell, considering that a friend of mine, and Rotax Max Karting World Champion Gavin Cronje is drving the South African car. Once I find more information I will keep you guys updated!

I am toying with the idea of going to Brands Hatch as its only about 8 miles from my house but I dont really know a lot about the series and am not sure its worth the ?30 entrance fee

sounds good the A1 seris been loooking foward to it since i first heard of the idea but it's on sky sports so it's gonna be s***

Yay,I can't wait, being the motorsport fanatic I am.Its nice to have something to watch in the F1 off season.Go South Africa!

As for the last few F1 races,Go McLaren111111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be going to the Eastern Creek round here in Australia,
I'm sure it'll be better than watching F1, it's much harder to
build a huge lead over an opponent, so there should be more
passing and aggressive driving.

I know South Africa produce some top talent, so I'll be keeping
a keen eye on their progress, but I'm an Aussie so I'm barracking
for them first, then the South African's. Nelson Piquet Jr. will be
another to keep an eye on, that guy has some serious talent.

Yeah, the Aussies and SA are kind of underdogs in this,it would be nice to see them beating the established motorsport nations(eg the English). It could be comedy seeing Alex Yoong race again though!

This should be good. :)
F1 is so unfair with the different engines and tyres that can improve performance. :noway
Ralph Firman is racing! Hoo-ray! :happy

I don't know which hole you have been in :p, but South Africa has some of the best names in motorsport coming through the ranks! We are hardly the underdogs in this series, in terms of driver ability and experience. The only side on which we could be wanting is the technical expertise.

Anyway, looking forward to the weekend!!!

So we have, but we are not really a country associated with motorsport, thats what I meant when I said that.I just hope tomas Scheckter can still remember how to turn right. :D

Well he will find out on Sunday when the IRL heads to The Glen for the inaugural round. Hope he has a good result!

Why is it taking sooo long for Saturday to come!!!! I can't wait for everyone to eat our dust ;)
