The USA Open is over, and the grand slams have been settled for the season. Roger Federer reined supreme in the mens, while Maria Sharapova is now recognised as the best in the Women's Division.

Join us, BBC Tennis, as we look forward to the next international circuit, starting on New Years Day in ATP Cincinnati:

The Players:

From Left: Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Fernando Gonzalez, David Nalbandian

Roger Federer - This year, the giant Swiss won three out of four Grand Slams. He is a sure chance to do one better this year.

Rafael Nadal - Nadal proved the only resistance against Federer, winning the French Open. Can he do more next year?

Fernando Gonzalez - The young Spaniard improved the most last year, with a handful of semi finals and finals. Can he prove the underdog?

David Nalbandian - The Argentinian has been slightly off since his last win. Can he find his form again?

The Coverage:

The BBC has snapped up every series of tennis next year from Sky Sports, Eurosport and more. That is more heart pounding stuff for you. This year, we will have preview shows, analysis from retired pro's like Agassi, Boris Becker, HawkEye for those contrevesial decisions and more..

A Preview Show

Barker: Hello, I am Sue Barker and welcome to Second Serve, a preview show ahead of tomorrow's ATP Cincinnati. First of all, let's look at the stadium:

Name: Lindner Family Tennis Center
Location: Mason, Ohio, USA
Capacity: 10,500
Number of Courts: Three
Type of Court: Hard

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barker: So, as you can see, the tournament should be watching by a lot of people and will hopefully prove to be quite mind-blowing. There will be 64 men and 64 women competing, such as:

+ Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Fernando Gonzalez, Andy Murray and more..
+ Maria Sharapova, Lindsay Davenport, Henin-Hardenne and more..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barker: Next to me, we have Andre Agassi, who will be commentating for the series. Good afternoon, Andre.

Agassi: Hello, Sue and hello Britain.

Barker: Who do you think will win the men's and women's?

Agassi: Well, Roger Federer is a tough player and number one pick, but Nadal or Murray could surprise him. In the women's, Sharapova or Davenport will pick it up.

Barker: How tough are the courts out there?

Agassi: There will be a lot of smashing, since the ball just rockets around, which is perfect for Davydencko and Federer. The court also is very smooth, so expect the players to slip around and slide aswell.

Barker: Thank you for that Andre and we will see you tomorrow for ATP Cincinnati. Good evening.
