I see our good friends at cricketgaming.net have caught onto the news of a new game coming out. They are, according to their press statement at this very moment seeking an exclusive interview with Codemasters about the game. We wish them all the best with that.

I really hope they took what Transmission Games gave us (post patches) and build on it, because it was fantastic. And it needs a lot more content than just the Ashes! Damn good to hear about a new cricket game though!

So by the time of release it will be 3 years since ic10, that must be enough time to take stock of the good and the bad from the previous game and with a fresh start bring out something even better,..?

Unless they decided like a month ago and are now lashing together a right load of old poop.!!

Hopefully not. It is still being created by Trickstar who have made two cricket games previously.

In the other forum on their official website it is clearly stated that they have been developing the game for some time already. I think they are looking for user feedback before screwing the whole thing into place as it were.

That's why I'm annoyed about the change of developer - Transmission were really onto a good thing with the last Ashes game (after patch 2 - which I believe was never released on consoles?)

It's not really a change of developer. Transmission became Trickstar. The main change is from Codemasters to 505 Games.
