extremely silly question but have to ask is there a way to play sweep without using special shot modifier ??

I mean there are 2 different sliders for sweep and special shot when adding xp points, is there a way to play sweep ??

Realistically speaking, that is not going to happen.

Yea I doubt Slats is going to agree to sit down and read out 500+ names. If we can get a Slats impersonator, then that's a game changer!

Honestly I wouldn't mind one bit if they add an unlicensed commentator along with the 3 current licensed ones that we've in the game. But then we well know that it's not going to happen and that makes me sad because its the first time I'm investing my time in Academy. Next game may be.

@Wouldubeinta has released a tool to change the commentaries for dbc17 and rugby league games. So maybe it will be possible to edit it.

I'm guessing that's a PC only thing. I'm on console so not sure if it will help me or other console users for that matter.

It will take as long as it needs to get all major quirks solved. So no point in hurrying a patch like last time and break something else which was working well.

So please give them time to resolve those major ones which is affecting the gameplay as it stands

When the pitch is red sand base, I find it difficult to follow the ball while bowling. Has anyone experienced this or is it jus me ? The reply here will determine my visit to eye specialist soon!!

It’s a bug, I think, if you mean that when you are batting at the end of a game and you’re still behind in aggregate runs it awards an innings victory to the other side. This has been reported and I believe fixed from responses I’ve seen.

Check your monitor / TV settings. Try different display modes like Standard / Movie / natural / Personal / Dynamic or tweak the tint settings.
