Ashes Cricket General Discussion

I have a couple questions mainly directed at anyone in the Beta team or some long time players of the game. Basically anyone who really knows the game.

1: When bowling do you only press l1/r1 once to alter length or multiple times to alter length even further ?
2: Do you press the above during type of delivery selection or during the bowlers run up ?
3: When bowling cutters, how do you position the seam ? I get the outswing to a right hander is 11 o clock an inswinger 1 o clock but what about cutters ?
4: When the ball is older does it actually reverse swing ? So you bowl an outswinger when you want to swing it in correct ? and it actually does that ?
5: I've noticed Wealey for example has the pace set up like 70-80, is that the general consensus ? Do most of you have it set up like that ? or default ?

Apologies for the random questions and hope they made enough sense.

1. multiple times - the more number of time i press, more fuller/shorter it goes
2. during (along with the length button) - e.g. if A (on Xbox One) is good length and i want to go little fuller than good length - i'll start with A and then press A+R1 to slightly fuller. If I want to go slightly more full, I'll press A+R1 again.
3. I don't. Good folks from beta team have confirmed, you can get the movement even without using the seam at all. The only thing is if you use seam and you use it wrong then the bowl won't do what you intend it to do. e.g. 11 o clock seam and inswinger isn't gonna swing the ball in.
4. it swings. but not the other way - so you still select out swinger if you want the ball to swing away from the batsman. same as new ball.
5. nah, i've mine on default.

With regards to (1) - I've oft wondered if pressing multiple times makes a difference. I've experimented and not come to a conclusion on this. there is variation, but I can;t tell if it's random variation of length, or controlled variation. I'm not doubting you either, but a pitch marker map would be helpful to confirm this.

With regard to point (2) - I press it as the bowler is running in, this might be why I don't get the same results as you?

My game lags or so to say frame rate drops quite a bit when i run in to bowl or when a fielder throws the ball during competetion modes (not in career mode)
Does anyone have a solution to fix this
I play on ps4

Are you saying the depot man is the reason behind all of this. Man, Im still trying to recover from my loss against DJ:facepalm.

'Comes quicker the more you think about it' has always been the case with me :p.
My girlfriend tells me I have the same problem[DOUBLEPOST=1523357635][/DOUBLEPOST]
More just meant that it sparks a conversion which then leads to a debate and so on, didn't mean it in necessarily a negative way
I think a joke......as was mine....
