Asia cup and Afro-asia cup has been postponed

Asia, Afro-Asia Cup postponed

The Asia cup which was supposed to be hald at Pakistan has been postponed to 2008 mainly due to a packed schedule for India this year.

On the other hand the annual Afro-Asia cup which started last year has also been postponed due to some scheduling problem.

Because India don't make as much money out if the Asia Cup.

Agreed.Everything is quantified in terms of profit or loss achieved out of the play.The main intention is power and money almost everywhere nowadays and this is no exception.

i don't know if justice is being done for these tournaments, but to be honest the interest level drops considerably. I feel these tournaments should be eliminated completely from the schedule.

The Afro-Asia Cup, yes, because that's a complete joke. But the Asia Cup is a good tournament, as it is an oppurtunity for a couple of non-test nations to mix it with the big boys.
