The current World Cup?? If you mean 2003, then they were there. If you're talking about 2007, then no-one has qualified for that yet.

And they have played in every ICC Trophy so far, and there is no reason to suggest that they won't play in 2005.

The 12th country in the Champions Trophy is the USA, but the USA does not yet have an international standard ground. Holland does, and hosted games during the 1999 World Cup.

Despite results in the 6 Nations, Holland are a much better side than the USA. Although only qualifying for 2 World Cups, they have only just missed out on all the others.

ur right about the difference in the quality of grounds in both countries...

im not sure about the status of domestic cricket in holland - but im guessing its better than it is in the US...

so i stand corrected regarding my comment about usa being the next frontier...

The domestic structure in Holland is probably one of the best in the non-test arena. Along with Kenya, Scotland and Ireland, they are one of the only countries that actually has a national league. Everywhere else it is run on regional lines. Many people have tried to introduce an organised national league in the USA, but all attempts have failed.
