Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif has been ruled out of next month's one-day series against Bangladesh as he hasn't completed his rehabilitation from an elbow surgery he underwent in Sydney last December. Asif has had a prolonged struggle with an elbow problem which has kept him out of international cricket since October 2007.

I think that PCB are making a mistake here. They should select him and prepare him for the Asia Cup that follows IPL after some time.
 
No, I think it is best not to rush him back from injury. He is a long term talent for you guys and you should do everything to ensure that he remains that way. This being said, I am still a tad sceptical about his ODI ability.

There...He anyway isn't too good for ODIs and they want to get him back in an important tournament without any match practice. I still don't think that he shouldn't play against Bangladesh.
 
Oh well, you'll still thrash them IMO.
 
Well Its as usual before 10 days of the match..News coming Asif not playing...
