Australia Tour Of India 2012/13

Seriously, how did the selectors not see this coming, this is ridiculous, everyone in Australia knows Doherty and Maxwell can't bowl and it has been discussed at length on these forums.

----------

Maxwell is bowling too full and flighted. I swear I can hit easily these kind of balls too.

Tailender Sunil Narine had no problem whacking him for 4 consecutive sixes, so I believe you probably can.

----------

Australia is so going to struggle in this series. I can feel it

They already are :lol

Our selectors seem to lose the plot when they come to India. I have no idea in what world is Maxwell or White good enough to play in the specialist bowler role in a Test match. I thought picking McDonald as the 4th seamer was bad that doesn't even come close to the rubbish of White and Maxwell as a specialist spinner plus at least McDonald showed something, I ain't seeing either of the batsmen come spinners doing that.

----------

I can see another 200 coming up for Pujara.

I hear Afghanistan have been wanting some international cricket. Maybe they should play a team around their sort of standard...say Australia?

Want to just give up with the Ashes guys? Save getting yourselves humiliated again? ;)

You forget, Australia are "greentop bullies", we will sort you out come the Ashes!!! (shakes fist)

What, with scores of 88 against Pakistan in Eng in 2010, and 80 odd on boxing day v Eng in that years Ashes, and world record test low threatening 9-21 against SAF in 2011, and being bundled out by the Sri Lankan "pace battery" for 70 odd in an ODI this summer.

The Ashes are all over, it is going to be a long long year...Ashes overkill and humiliation here we come.

Brilliant 150 for Pujara! It is also good to see that both the batsmen have scored quickly in this session.

Almost a perfect day. Lovely batting from these 2 players.

Hey, that Kulasakera dude had crazy swing going on. It's also unfair to compare ODIS to tests otherwise Watson would be one of the best Test players.

Also, yes. Australia are greentop bullies.

Beware of Bird, Johnson, Siddle, Pattinson, a fit Hilfy, Cummins, Starc.

The pitch is lifeless a draw is likely unless the Aussies throw away their wickets!

Rubbish!! It was turning since Day 1. Few balls turned square of Ashwin and Harbhajjan. One of them turned square of Doherty.
Poor spin attack. Its a turner.

Sort them out with Maxwells, Cowans and Warners against the likes of Anderson, Finn and Swann? :lol

Oh my...

You see, that's what happens when you don't pick your best squad.

Mind including the players who are supposed to be in this divine "best squad" ?

The game of cricket was awesome- record breaking partnership for second wicket, but personally, Hyderabad crowd was terribly disappointed because they didn't get to watch Sachin. And in the third session, the fours by Pujara and Vijay were booed as well.

Good to see Murali Vijay doing well. I hope he will be the second inning specialist- what we are in search of.

We were doing fine, we pushed SA and beat SL. Then 1 Test v India and we go nuts with epicly poopy selections.........going to be such a long double Ashes series'...

Right said, Biggy. Some Aussie members are hitting the panic button too early. Normally, subcontinent members do that after their team loses.

Really top class from Indian top order . the only group sad about it (other than aussies and their fans) would be sachin fans as they cannot see sachin batting in this free day ie, sunday .:rolleyes
