School Cricketer
LOL, a bit've tounge in cheek, so to speak. I saw the picture on cricinfo and couldn't resist.
But Watson is a better batsman then Shah. His in the same mold of Hayden in the 1990's where Hayden (scene is set for Slowcoach to come in and comment on me putting Hayden into another thread) didn't get the extended opportunities but once he got a spot in the side he cemented it. He won't be as good as Hayden but he'll certainly be allot better then Owais Shah. I reckon Watson will make a Test century before Shah will.
Guys like Bopara, Patel, Trott, Denly, Malan, Morgan, Horton and Godleman are just big fish in a small pond and will be eaten alive by Siddle & Johnson. Those muppets don't hold a handle to Shane Watson when it comes to cricketing ability. The fact that Godleman is mentioned among those names, doesn't say much for those names you mentioned.
I'm sure Australia will never be immediated by English batsman averaging under 40 in first-class cricket.
