Can't seem to get them to default them into game.

I have just uninstalled and reintsalled cos I downloaded sams patch which I didnt like. So Im trying to get vers 3 AI installed, which wont install either....saying that it can't reconise the file.

For bats you just replace the files in your Cricket 2004/data/bats folder with the new ones. To install AI 3 you need to have AI 2 installed first.

You're better off just getting a fresh gob file and installing one of the newer patches on it (v6 - v9). They're better than the others

Are you using sams exe? The later patches are designed for it (it makes the cursor appear later when you're batting) so they should be pretty easy if you're not.

um...does having different bats contribute to not having an original gob file?

Or what other things contribute towards this?

Bats don't, sams exe doesnt and roster updates dont- these things all replace separate files. Pretty much everything else does, like kits, AI patches, etc.

The only problem is that since installling 2 it wont let any AI pathces be installed
